The ABLE Developmental Inventory Report is the result of a screening inventory. The ABLE Developmental Inventory Report can only provide certain areas of concern and may or may not indicate all areas of concern. The ABLE Developmental Inventory Report is based upon the answers provided by the user. While diagnostic terms are indicated, only childhood developmental professionals can accurately assess and diagnose developmental and/or psychosocial disorders.





Validation Statement

Before a developmental disorder or mental illness can be validated, the symptoms should be accountable for causing significant social, academic, medical and/or occupational impairment. The symptoms for the disorder(s) listed should be disregarded if they can better be attributed to a specific medical illness, prescriptive medication, medication withdrawal, substance abuse or another mental illness. Other validation issues will be addressed under specific disorders defined in the ABLE Glossary.
